This is an original hand formed metal sculpture that was designed and built by me, Richard Walker. I put an enormous amount of time and effort into these pieces to make sure that they are the finest sculptures that are available anywhere. Each piece is completely hand cut and precision welded. As you can see, they are three dimensional. This piece is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. When you take a close look at these pieces you can see how all the time, effort, and high quality materials make these pieces stand apart from all the rest. This was a special custom order of my design G51 that I did for a customer out west. It was one of the largest pieces that I have done. The design is based off of my original G51 design with a few modifications. The center post on this piece was nearly 1 inch diameter stainless steel. I had to special order it for this project. To keep with scale, all of the curved strips are much wider. For added rigidity I precision cut holes in the curved strips and ran the center post through them. Many of the welds are concealed on the underside of the curves for a clean look. The base was extra heavy steel tube designed to be nearly flush with the ground. The only part that was not stainless steel was the base. As on the original, I used a textured copper finish.

The sculpture turned out great and I really enjoyed building it. At the bottom of this page are photos of the installed piece that the customer was nice enough to send me.
