This is an original hand formed metal wall sculpture that was designed and built by me, Richard Walker. I put an enormous amount of time and effort into these pieces to make sure that they are the finest sculptures that are available anywhere. Each piece is completely hand cut and precision welded. As you can see, they are three dimensional. These sculptures stand off of the wall and are designed to allow light to pass through them. Another thing you will notice is the finish. Only the highest quality paints are used. All the colors are custom mixed and can not be found anywhere else. Hours are spent painstakingly hand polishing these pieces to a mirror finish. The depth and clarity of these finishes are unbelievable. This is one my original three dimensional mountain landscape metal wall sculpture designs. It is a modern/contemporary design that is 3d in a couple ways. The entire sculpture stands about 2.5 inches from the wall. In addition to that, the black mountain section is a separate piece from the silver sky. The mountains are set in front of the sky portion.

A light is mounted at the bottom of this piece behind the mountains. Light is designed to be projected on the front and back side of the upper sky section. Precision cut holes were cut to represent the moon and starts. When the light is turned on these areas are illuminated.

As with all of my metal wall sculptures, this piece is built entirely out of stainless steel. Precision cut stainless steel sheet is used for the face of this sculpture and a sturdy stainless round-bar frame is constructed on the back side for support. The sky portion has a hand textured stainless steel finish that has been clear coated and polished. This area is designed to reflect light. The lower mountain section is coated in 7 coats of gloss black automotive grade paint that has been polished. You can notice how clear the reflection is in the photo below.

A fluorescent light is used to illuminate this metal wall sculpture. Generally I use a light with a white cord rather than the black cord shown below. I can also use a battery operated light so this sculpture can be placed in areas where an electrical outlet is not available.
