This is an original hand formed metal sculpture that was designed and built by me, Richard Walker. I put an enormous amount of time and effort into these pieces to make sure that they are the finest sculptures that are available anywhere. Each piece is completely hand cut and precision welded. As you can see, they are three dimensional. This piece is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. When you take a close look at these pieces you can see how all the time, effort, and high quality materials make these pieces stand apart from all the rest. This was a custom version of my G72 design that I did for a customer. The first big change was the sizing. It was built smaller than usual to fit into a certain space. The design itself stayed the same with the exception of the base. Instead of the usual sand textured black finish, a sand textured shell white was used. Felt was placed on the bottom of the base to prevent scratches. With the exception of the base, the entire rest of the sculpture was built out of stainless steel. I hand cut, bent, and then welded everything together. Hours were spent painstakingly masking the piece for paint. After each color was sprayed, it had to be masked before spraying the next color. Then everything had to be masked to paint the base. Years of practice have gone into being able to lay a smooth finish down on such intricate pieces. A lot of the work on my sculptures is very tedious but the end results are worth the effort.
